In his capacity as Consultant Advisor to the Decision Associates’ team, Jim Gehrlein utilizes his extensive knowledge, experience and expertise in manufacturing, construction, nonprofits and regional agencies to assist the team and their clients with strategy and succession planning.
Jim retired as regional president of National City Bank where he served in various managerial and leadership roles for over 40 years. He is proud of the area community, and though he claims to be retired, he is anxious to do his part in continuing to help businesses in Erie grow to their potential.
He holds a BA in Business Administration from Gannon University and has received numerous certifications in banking, commercial lending and leadership. An Erie native, Jim actively serves on a number of boards including the Second Harvest Food Bank, Gannon University, ECIDA and GEIDC, and is the CFO for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwestern Pennsylvania.
