At Decision Associates, Emily Wachter utilizes her experience in Marketing, Communications and Sales to assist clients with developing strategic planning initiatives for marketing and communications efforts. Her focus is in the nonprofit area where she conducts focus group discussions, community surveys, competitive analysis, and ultimately a marketing plan for the future of the organizations. Emily brings to Decision Associates the ability to develop key messaging strategies that will ensure that organizations are developing the right techniques to most effectively reach their target audiences.
Before coming to Decision Associates, Emily was a Business Growth Strategist for J&L Marketing, Inc., a Louisville based marketing firm where she developed direct marketing strategies for car dealerships, representing J&L’s BMW and Mercedes national account team. Prior to that time, she was an Account Executive at Bensur Creative Marketing Group where she worked in a variety of industries including nonprofit, manufacturing, health care and retail/tourism.
Emily holds a BA in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from the University of Dayton and has been recognized for her professional work in the Erie community. She was the 2008 recipient of the Northwest Advertising Federation’s Media Buyer/Planner of the Year award and the 2011 Young Erie Professionals Generation E Leadership award.
An Erie native, Emily shares a great love for her hometown and is committed to giving back. She currently serves on many nonprofits including CASA board member and VP of Fund Development, Junior League of Erie and Athena Powerlink panel coordinator.
