Peer Groups

Join a peer group and connect

service peerHow do you step out of the day-to-day and focus on the big picture? What firsthand insight and experience can you gain from other business leaders? What type of advice could help you increase profits and the value of your business?

Entrepreneurs face a wide range of complexities and challenges. Assessing options, making critical decisions and dealing with personal issues are often done without input or advice from others.

Subjects are often too sensitive to share with others in the business or require a level of understanding beyond the scope of employees. Connecting with other business leaders who have faced similar issues and can offer personal advice is invaluable.

Three levels of peer groups

Decision Associates has developed and coordinated three levels of peer groups designed to offer confidential peer interaction, present learning opportunities and develop competencies essential in today’s business world. Participants from a diverse range of companies and industries bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the groups.

These member-only monthly meetings typically feature a combination of outside resources and speakers, group discussions, hot topics, breakout sessions and case studies. Each group plays a role in determining the agenda and direction that will best meet their needs.

As a business leader, a peer group can help you:

  • Improve your skills and abilities
  • Face the challenges of being the boss
  • Share and receive wisdom from other business leaders
  • Gain practical business operating knowledge
  • Gain insight in dealing with employees in the business

“Decision Associates exceeded our expectations, which were very high to start with, and we were pleased with the result of their work and assistance on our strategic plan. They were the right organization at the right time to help our organization become what we need to be in the next few years. They led us in such a way to allow us to move forward, which is not always easy, and accomplish a lot in a short time. The proof is that the strategic plan has been widely acknowledged as being perfect for us with comments coming not just from within, but from the community as well. We will engage them again when we are ready for an update.”
